February is the best time to take an inventory of your seeds and determine if you need any additional seeds for the upcoming growing season.  This year is an odd year for seeds, though.  International seed vendors have restrictions on peppers and tomato seeds due to the spread of certain plant diseases, so seeds from Italy may not be available.  There are also limitations in the U.S. due to COVID, so order early because there may be delays in processing and shipping orders.  It's also a good time to make sure that the greenhouse is clean and trays are ready for planting.   We usually start planting in the greenhouse with heated mats in late March, but you don't want to wait until the last minute and it helps with the cabin fever to work outside during the dark, dreary days of February.
